Covides and ABANCA promote new financing options adapted to their cooperative members
Covides and ABANCA have renewed their collaboration agreement to continue offering financing solutions adapted to the needs of the agricultural sector. This new signature consolidates the relationship between the cooperative and the bank, and aims to continue supporting cooperative members with tools that contribute to the sustainable growth and improvement of the competitiveness of their farms.
The agreement, signed by Covides’ president, Rafel Ramón, and ABANCA’s Business-East area director, José Miguel Díaz, includes a wide range of products and services designed by the specialized ABANCA Agro unit. Among the outstanding proposals is the ‘Multidestination Agro Financing Line’, which unifies in a single contract the financial management of farms: PAC advances, financing of agricultural campaigns, and agricultural insurance premiums, with the aim of reducing costs and simplifying procedures.
Also included is the new ‘ABANCA Emprendedores y Profesionales’ pension plan, designed for the self-employed. This is a simplified, flexible and simple plan, designed to complement the retirement of this group and encourage long-term savings.
With this renewal, Covides continues working to offer added value to its members and reinforces its role as a cooperative committed to the progress of the rural and wine-growing world. For its part, ABANCA reaffirms its commitment to the Catalan primary sector, making available to the cooperatives a network of specialized professionals and products designed specifically for the sector.
