Covides launches its first 0.0 sparkling wine
Covides takes a step forward with the launch of its first 0.0% sparkling wine, a perfect combination of tradition and innovation.
Production
The wine is unalcoholized, and the recipe is crafted by adding different ingredients: MCR, mannoproteins, tannins, aromas… It is then tangentially filtered and kept at a low temperature (2 °C – 5 °C). Afterward, it is bottled cold (using pasteurization, inline microcarbonation, microfiltration…).
Tasting notes
Covides new 0.0% sparkling wine presents a pale yellow color with greenish reflections and a clean, bright appearance. Its fine, persistent bubbles form an elegant crown, characteristic of the finest sparkling wines.
It offers a fresh aroma with notes of white fruit, followed by floral and terpenic nuances, as well as subtle fermentative touches of dried fruit.
On the palate, it is very pleasant, with a balanced acidity, a creamy texture, and well-integrated bubbles, highlighting flavors of pear, apple, and Muscat grape.
The finish is long, clean, and refreshing, leaving lingering notes of ripe white fruits and pastry aromas.
