Digital innovation takes center stage in Brussels, with Covides positioned as a benchmark in agroecology
Brussels hosted the Digital Agroecology Cluster Conference this week, a European gathering that brought together experts, institutions, technology centers and key stakeholders from the agricultural sector to推动 digitalisation in agroecology. In this context, Covides participated as a representative of the European project PATH2DEA, reaffirming its role in driving technological transformation in the wine sector.
During the conference, Covides presented its experience as a demonstration case within the project, showing how the adoption of digital tools can optimise organic vineyard production and winemaking processes. This work has helped identify key drivers of change, technological and organisational barriers, emerging risks and new opportunities to advance toward a more efficient, sustainable and competitive wine sector.
Covides’ contribution highlights the importance of the cooperative sector as an engine of innovation and as an essential player in the practical implementation of digital solutions in the territory. The event strengthened alliances, facilitated knowledge exchange and positioned the cooperative as a reference in the integration of technology and agroecology.
An inspiring meeting that reaffirms Covides’ commitment to a more modern, forward-looking wine sector prepared for the challenges of the coming decades.
