Covides participates in the first DO Penedès Gastronomic Route in Sitges

This past weekend, Covides has participated in the first DO Penedès Gastronomic Route in Sitges, which takes place from October 23rd to December 3rd. The aim of the initiative is to promote the region’s wines, support Sitges restaurants and, at the same time, remind people that the DO Penedès is also Garraf. A total of 27 DO Penedès wineries and 12 Sitges restaurants are part of the DO Penedès Gastronomic Route in Sitges.

The route consists of quality pairing dinners in 12 restaurants in Sitges, with menus prepared expressly for this food and wine route and where the different winemakers will be present at the dinners to explain their wines and the pairing.

Covides has been present at the Pic Nic restaurant. Its location in the middle of Paseo de Sitges, its history and the quality of its gastronomic proposal make it a mythical establishment. At Pic Nic we have been able to enjoy a tasting menu, with quality gastronomy and Mediterranean cuisine.
