Covides inaugurates “El Pati”

This Sunday, March 10, we have inaugurated a new multipurpose wine tourism space in the courtyard of our offices in the Rambla Nostra Senyora de Vilafranca del Penedès.

The space, which had already hosted some specific events such as the celebration of Women’s Day in 2020, or some electronic vermouth, has been completely remodeled, incorporating a wine bar, better accessibility and services, and more decoration to turn it into a space open to the public, to celebrate both Covides and private events.

The space is called El Pati de Covides, and consists of 342 m² on the first floor of the modernist building Casa Janer, located at number 45 of the central Rambla Nostra Senyora de Vilafranca. With a capacity of 180 people, it can be used for tastings, presentations, private parties or company events.

The inauguration of the Pati de Covides has been a great success, attended by more than 500 people in different shifts so as not to exceed the allowed space.

The new Covides Experimental Wine (number 7) has been presented with a complimentary glass and gastronomy of the Cooperative to pair it. Throughout the event we were accompanied by the fantastic group Les Koren, a musical group of acoustic versions of the Alt Penedès.
