Last Thursday, January 26th, the Consortium presented in the auditorium of the VINSEUM the Action Plan 2023, with the presence of more than a hundred attendees, all linked to the tourism sector of the territory.
The event was opened by the president of the Consortium, Ramon Riera, who encouraged everyone to “face 2023 with optimism and enthusiasm, because this is what our sector can offer; tourism is the industry of happiness”.
In his turn, Xavier Lluch, president of the Regional Council of Alt Penedès, stressed that we are a top destination and that we will work to ensure that tourism is beneficial for visitors, but also to improve the quality of life of residents.
Next, Núria Sala presented the new features of the 2023 action plan, highlighting the role that the Consortium is playing by actively participating in the major transformational projects of the territory. First of all, the tourism sustainability plan that includes the promotion of cycling mobility in the axis of the C-15; the Experiences project, coordinated with 33 wine routes in Spain, which will develop actions related to the data observatory and the creation of wine tourism product, and finally the Penedès wine territory.
In the field of promotion highlights the presence in tourism fairs and professional wine tourism fairs representing the Penedès Wine Route and a great commitment to a new digital marketing plan with the aim of making an exponential leap and positioning the Penedès in the world.
Taking advantage of the event, the new members of the Penedès Wine Route were presented, joining the more than 190 companies that participate in this product club: Covides, AT Roca, Torclum, the Font de la Caña Boutique Hotel, Masia Vallfort, the restaurants Vilagut, El Centre and La Cantina de Viladellops.
