Last Saturday May 6th took place the Riudevins fair, a fair that takes place in the Barri Vell de Sant Pere de Riudebitlles. This fair is designed to publicize the wines of the Mediona-Riudebitlles Valley and tour the private cellars of the oldest houses of the village, founded in the eleventh century.
It is the neighbors themselves who open the doors of their homes to host the participating wineries and show the history of their homes to visitors. Wine, art, music and heritage are found in the same exhibition.
Covides participated with tastings of Terra Terrae products (White Wine and Cava Brut) and, as a novelty, we offered the Women’s Day Cabernet Sauvignon Experimental Winery and the Duc de Foix Guarda Superior Gran Reserva 2017. The latter 2 were particularly well received by visitors.
On the other hand, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 we also participated in the fair Forum Vinàrium, which was held in the Fòrum square in Tarragona. It was organized by Enric Winery, which is located in the same square. There was live music during the two days and it was very crowded.
We went with several products, but what stood out were the white wine Grapus Xarel-lo, the white wine Terra Terra Terrae and the cavas Casteller Brut Nature and Terra Terra Terrae Brut.
