The Association of Cava Producers (AECAVA) brings, one more year, La Vendimia del Cava to sixteen wineries located in the Penedès region. The initiative starts on the last weekend of August and will last until September 25th, taking advantage of the grape harvest season.
This year has broken the record of wineries participating in the initiative and sixteen wineries are part of it: Agustí Torelló Mata, Batllori, Canals & Munné, Carol Vallès, Cava Guilera, Cava Rovellats, Caves Bolet, Caves Vilarnau, Codorníu, Covides, Giró del Gorner, Giró Ribot, Juvé & Camps, Masía Torreblanca, Sumarroca and Vins el Cep. All of them will offer original experiences, both during the day and well into the evening.
For the seventh consecutive year, La Vendimia del Cava will show the secrets of the elaboration of Cava with activities for all audiences and suggestive proposals that will seek to satisfy all tastes. On Saturdays and Sundays in September, this already consolidated initiative will offer a wide range of recreational experiences designed for small audiences: concerts among vineyards, farmhouse breakfasts, nature outings with bicycles, brunches and lunches among vines, dinners under the stars, Nordic walking along rural paths, activities for the youngest members of the family… The activities will take place with limited capacity and prior reservation.
The Cava Harvest with Covides will be held next Saturday September 10th, where you can enjoy Nordic Walking combined with Pilatwalk among the vineyards of one of our partners of the Cooperative. At the end of the day we will have a country breakfast and we will pair it with our organic wines and cavas. During the day there will be a raffle among all participants! The winner will win a lot of Covides products. We will end the day with a visit to the winery, where we will see the tractors arriving directly from the vineyard and we will be able to see the first pressing live!
