This past Sunday, took place on the esplanade of the Prunamala estate of the winery of Sant Sadurní, the 38th Fiesta del Socio, an intimate and emblematic day of our cooperative where we present our new wine and oil, and which this year was attended by the President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès and the Minister of Rural Agenda Teresa Jordà.
Hundreds of members, family, friends and colleagues of the sector were distributed on Sunday among the tables located outside the winery, to enjoy a farmhouse breakfast and taste our new wines, before giving way to the speeches.
Pere Aragonès highlighted the relevance of “cooperativism” because “in the face of difficulties we must unite and work together to continue growing”. The president went on to say that “we have to defend food sovereignty in our country, bet on local products and bring production closer to the consumer” because “food is a key sector”. Finally, a few words of praise for Covides partners. “You are an example of effort for the agricultural sector and for the country as a whole”.
In short, it was a very nice and welcoming morning. We hope to see you again next year!
