Hundreds of members, family members and colleagues gathered last November 27th at the winery in Sant Sadurní to enjoy a country breakfast and taste our young wines and new oil.
“Viticulture is culture, territory, landscape and society.” So began her speech the Minister of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Teresa Jordà.
The members’ meeting, where they enjoyed a country breakfast and the presentation of the young wine and the new oil of the 2022 vintage, was a party with more than 1,000 people at the Covides Cooperative Winery in Sant Sadurní de Anoia.
The speeches were presented by David Jobé and were attended by:
Maria Galup, Technical Director, on the new wines of the 2022 vintage which, despite the severe drought, has managed to be produced with good quality.
Christophe Marquet, Commercial Director, on the expansion and innovative products, such as the Experimental Cellar, bottled in 960 manually numbered bottles and a Cava Brut Reserva Terra Terra Terrae all ecological and recyclable and Castellers wine packaged in bag in box.
Fèlix Galimany, president of the cooperative, Ton Amat, mayor of Sant Sadurní de Anoia, and the councilor Teresa Jordà also spoke.
In addition to a raffle of lots of exclusive products of the house, 7 children’s tractors were raffled among 45 children attending the event.
Without farmers there is no food. Thanks to all our members, who work tirelessly defending our territory, you are the engine of the cooperative!
