Objectives: bottling, sustainability, digitalization and generational relief.
In his speech, the newly elected president, Rafel Ramon, thanked the work of the last president of Covides, Fèlix Galimany, from whom he stressed that “he has learned a lot and it has been very useful to share advice with him and the rest of the members of the board in recent times”. In addition, the new president has reviewed the main objectives on which the governing council will focus.
One of the main issues highlighted will be to continue to grow in the percentage of bottled wine, ensuring value and sustainability. In addition, work will be done on the digitalization and modernization of processes, with the training of workers and partners, and the promotion of online sales, social networks and wine tourism. Ramon also explained that work will be done on generational change, attracting new members and relations with other cooperatives.
Felix, thank you very much for all the work you have done for the cooperative, without you it would not have been the same. We hope you get well soon!
