We are in the middle of one of the earliest harvests in our history. From August 4th, when we started with Chardonnay, until today (end of August) we are in the middle of the entry of the Macabeo and Xarel·lo varieties and we are making a careful selection of the red varieties according to their ripening point. It will also be historic to start at the end of August with the Parellada variety from our winery in Sant Sadurní.
Since May we have been recording maximum temperatures, which has accelerated the development of our plants and has brought forward the ripening of the grapes. In addition, the continued drought since last year has resulted in one of the poorest harvests in recent years. However, the quality of the harvest has been excellent, with balanced alcohol and acidity levels and excellent grape health.
